Hi to all

Just to let you know me and my wife have offered full and final offers based on "gifts" from a relative purely to pay off the IVA. We have offered basically the amount we would have had to pay had the IVA run its course for the next 3 years. The creditor review meeting is on the 8th September. In principle do you think this is a fair offer especially as this means the creditors getting what they would have got anyway plus paying it off 3 years early thus saving alot of time and fees etc.

Thoughts on the above

I will also let you know the outcome guys?

Cheers

Bobbydavro

Yes especially as you have offered the same amount rather than less. They should take the money and run! Good luck.

Good luck. Hope all goes well. Our F&F meeting is set for 21/9. Our offers increase the dividend to our creditors - me from 45p to 53p and my wife from 25p to 30p so hoping all goes ok on this

It depends on who you are with - some take around 28 days, 3-6 months has not been unheard of.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
