Hi,

You can continue to pay it from South Africa (just be aware of the difference in the exchange rates) or you could do a full and final if you can raise the money from a friend or relative.

Do remember to keep your IP in the loop too.

Hi Harriet - continue paying albeit it disclosing your change of circumstances to your IP. This may require a review of your Income & Expenditure after the move so your contributions may have to be adjusted accordingly. Alternatively see if you can make a final R&P offer as Kallis3 suggested. How long and how much contributions do you have left?

If you will have no remaining assets in the UK and you are not planning to return and no debts with HMRC, then there you are a million to 1 to ever be contacted about these.

I would never advocate ignoring the IVA and would continue to pay it so that if you ever come back it will not come back to bite you on the bum.
