hi!

Just a quick question, we are looking at making a f&f after Christmas - around February. Whilst the offer is going through, am I allowed to put the house up for sale?? Obviously I know that if we were to sell it would inform my IP but just wondered whether it is possible to at least advertise it during the final stages of the offer?

Thanks in advance :)

If it sells before you get your completion certificate the proceeds could be due to be paid into the IVA, even after a F&F has been accepted. Personally I would hold fire.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Some firms can be very slow at completion even after the full and final is agreed so if you advertise the property too early you could lose potential buyers and cause resentment. I agree with Foggy that you should wait until the full and final has been agreed. You can then get consent from your IP to market the property and make sure they remove the restriction.
