If you own your own house then you will be expected to sign this -just means that you cannot sell your house without your IP knowing about it.

If you do not your IVA will be failed. It merely puts a note on the deeds that your IP has an interest in the property and will inform the IP if you attempt to sell during the IVA.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Best to sign if you want the IVA to go through. It would seem strange if you refuse.

If you own property and are entering an IVA yes,, otherwise e.g. If its your partner (one ex) that is entering one and not you, you might need some legal advice
My Blog details, the route I took before IVA, how I choose my firm, equity release advice (year 4-5), challenging the CRA's keeping IVA on credit file once gone from insolvency register

IVA ended August 2015. Would recommend McCambridge Duffy
