If you own your own house then you will be expected to sign this -just means that you cannot sell your house without your IP knowing about it.

If you do not your IVA will be failed. It merely puts a note on the deeds that your IP has an interest in the property and will inform the IP if you attempt to sell during the IVA.

If you own property and are entering an IVA yes,, otherwise e.g. If its your partner (one ex) that is entering one and not you, you might need some legal advice
