Lloyds have cancelled my overdraft which has been included in the iva proposal, creditors meeting next week, they have also cancelled DD's from my account. They are my biggest creditor. Will they take all my wages tomorrow using the offset rule or are they not allowed to do that until the iva is all approved?

If your meeting of creditors is next week your wages should not be going into an account with one of your creditors. They may be able to seize the wages as the IVA will not be in place but the meeting should not have been convened until your wages were being paid into a new account.

If you are lucky Lloyds may return the money to payroll if they have closed the account but you need to speak to your IP and find out why the meeting was called without your wages being protected.

Hi and welcomed,

Were you not advised to open a new account with a non creditor? This should have been done at the start of your IVA procedure.

I think it may be too late to stop the wages being paid in this late in the day if they are due tomorrow.
