I have completed my IVA but have not yet received certificate, it was finished in 2013. It was with DebtfreeDirect but I am unable to get hold of them. How do I get my certificate?

Hi and welcome,

Have you checked the Insolvency Register to see if you are still on there?

Keep pestering them until they get back to you.

I had the same problem with GT and told them I was going to raise a formal complaint against my IP.
Out of nowhere I suddenly received my CC and have since found out that the IP in charge of my case had been sanctioned by the governing body for failing to close IVA's in a timely manner. Might be worth perusing a formal complaint against your IP.

Hi Stepehn - it is outrageous that you've waited this long if your IVA was completed in 2013! You need to send a written complaint to your IP firm and tell them you will be making a formal complaint against them via the Gateway if they do not provide with your your CC or reasonable explanation as to the delay within say 2 weeks. Then you can complaint here:

Hi Stephen - why dont you e-mail Laura from DFD her contact details are in her profile on here, her work in getting our case closed & our CC issued was outstanding.
Before found it very hard to get through by phone usually got through after the customary 45min wait but they were good when you did manage to get your call answered.Laura got us sorted out in a couple of months & she still helps us with info even though our case is closed Good Luck
