I was in an IVA which was taken out with my husband a year and a half ago, my husband has left me and is no longer in the country. I was paying the IVA but had no details of the terms or how long I have to pay for. Would I be apply to apply for a mortgage with a new partner ?

Hi and welcome.

If you have an IVA together than you need to get that separated.

You won't be able to get a mortgage with your new partner.
