Irene advises her IVA with Debt Free Direct is due to end next month and she would like to know where she stands in regard to the equity which she is expected to release in her home. She has had no contact from Debt Free Direct.
She needs to speak to DFD to clarify the position.

...Or check the terms in her IVA paperwork. If she is unable to release the equity most IVAs not have a clause that the IVA will be extended for 12 months. If you don't want to rock the boat ask Irene to write to DFD and ask how long will it be before she gets her CC following her last payment. They will then either raise the equity point or respond about closure and she will have her answer. Make sure the letter is sent via recorded/registered post so a complaint can be followed up later if necessary..
