Do creditors get paid once a year on debt free direct whereas they pay once a month?

Hi and welcome,

Dividends are paid out at regular intervals and the money you have paid across will go into a holding account.

If you're had your annual report it should say in there whether creditors have been paid a dividend. It should also state in your proposals/modifications the proposed dividend timings.

We were with DFD and our creditors received a payment twice a year. It may have changed since then so best to contact Laura from DFD direct.

Ours appear to get paid every month - by cheque and sometimes just for pennies.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Ours was just once a year as far as I can remember.
