My husband and I are divorcing and he has offered to take over our joint iva in his name only as part of our financial agreement. We are living abroad with his job and I am not working. Is it possible to do this?

Provided the payments are maintained and your supervisor is kept informed I see no problem with this at all. You have no income and if your husband can afford to make the entire IVA payments then creditors will not lose out.

I would qualify that by saying that if there are children to be supported then he should focus on maintenance arrangements.

How you decide to use those payments in terms of the iva would be your decision.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
