Hi and welcome and well done for being at the end.

Speak to your IP company and ask them to send you an email verifying that this next payment is your last and confirming that you can cancel your direct debit.

All you have to do then is enjoy the extra money and wait for your completion letter.

Check with the credit agencies to make sure that there are no defaults registered after the date of IVA acceptance. If there are then write to the data controller at the companies and ask that they remove them back to the original date.

Thanks for the reply I did speak to them and they said that December is the last payment they also said they owe me £848 that I have overpaid over the time so will be nice if I get that.
Thank you I will ask about the direct debit just wasn't sure if it's what everyone did

Just confirm it and it will be great if they do give you some money back!

Hi Kallis I've checked my credit report and there is one creditor who has put the date of default as 2012 when my iva started in 2010 is this something I can address now or do I need to wait for the completion certificate?
Thanks

You can try and speak to them now but once you have that completion letter you send them a copy and they have to remove it.

Once you have that completion letter then you can send it to them and get the default removed.
