ok so my original debt was 43k. iva set at 35p in £1 had to pay back 4 x 361 and 68 x 385 so = 27624

paying 444.48 at the moment - paid up to date 24048k got 23 payments left at £385.

so asked to pay 27624.00 over 6 years I have done 4 years and have paid £24048

offered 5000k as a f and f

The total amount received with the f&f would be greater than originally estimated - I don't think that they would say no and any uncertainty would be around how good your IVA company is.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

It seems reasonable although creditors would get more if they wanted. However they do like early settlements so very best of luck from me.

it's a little low compared to the outstanding payments of £8,855 but worth a shot, creditors can only say no. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Its a fair offer giving creditors an early return..i would be mindful though and ensure it is clearly written that if not accepted the money will not be available for your use.

I hope so , I mean why would my IP let me put the offer forward if it had no chance of being accepted. I will have paid over and above the amount they asked me to pay.

You IP has no choice! BUT they don't have to support/recommend the offer if they disagree with it.

You will likely have a meeting of creditors around the first week in January. Creditors normally ask for about four weeks to consider a variation proposal so given the Christmas break I would think that would be a reasonable timescale.
