I have been in an IVA since January 2008. Yes it us an IVA. I have had quite a few problems on the way coming out of work.My partner coming out if work. My partners wage was initially part of the Iva. I am no longer in this relationship. I am now in my 8th year of my IVA with no end date in sight. I wish I had never taken in an IVA. I have struggled the whole 8 years. This year I lost my house due to a secured loan I couldn't afford to pay. My house is up for sale. I will have a shortfall on my loan. My mortgage will be paid off. Any advise. I have offered a full and final on numerous occasions and have been declined. I need to get out of this. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am with DFD. I have emailed Laura to see if she can help. I am concerned about the shortfall. Can this be included fir definite. I just cant see any light at the end of the tunnel.
I think that the shortfall can be included but not 100% sure on that. Hopefully Laura will get in touch with you.

The shortfall is captured within the IVA and I now think the time is right to close down this IVA. Hopefully DFD can help as eight years is way too long.
Thank you so much. I am so fed up. Thought that after 5 years I would have been clear. It seems never ending and what with losing my home as well and finding it extremely difficult to rent due to my credit rating. Feel as if everything is going wrong. I have worried myself sick over the past few years. Thanks for all your help.
I hope you get this sorted Chappie - you deserve a break and hopefully you can close the door on this chapter of your life and start again.

This sounds like an unusual case. The shortfall should be included in your IVA. Hopefully Laura can unlock this for you so you can move on with your life. Keep us updated?
