I think its 6 years but if you are bankrupted as a result the Bankruptcy will stay on your record for a further 6 years.

Has your IVA failed?

How does it work with the insolvency register I was told the only way to get your details off that was to send them your completion certificate??

Insolvency register will be removed within three months of either completing or failing it. The IP will inform them.

Is completion being classed as when you get your CC as opposed to from when you make your final payment.

When you receive the certificate the IVA has completed not when the final payment is made. For example any windfall could be at risk if received after the last payment but before the certificate was received.
