Unfortunately you are highly unlikely to be able to remortgage.
If you are having problems with the payments ask for a new I&E to see if they can be reduced.

Sorry to read the IVA is causing your and your husband stress, I agree it's not an easy solution but it is worth it in the end
A look at your Income and Expenditure is one option. Do you have a generous family member who may be able to offer a full and final offer on your behalf and then you can repay them fully after the IVA is closed at an affordable rate. I do acknowledge that some people's IVA is very private and they don't want to share with anyone.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
If you have equity a secured loan might be an option (and may have to be a consideration as your iva comes to an end).

If you go down the secured loan route you will have to involve your ip.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
