We paid our last IVA payment on 1st November 2015, this morning our certificate of completion arrived. I am numb, I really am struggling to get my head round the fact that we have no debt, apart from the mortgage. Got to be honest & say that it feels weird, I can't remember the last time we had no debt. We have learnt a valuable lesson of life, do you need it, if so save for it. We will never get into this situation again.

That's absolutely brilliant news!

Make sure you clean up your credit rating though.

Great news, it is a lovely feeling and of course so nice to be better off each month. After years of worry its as though a great weight has been lifted off your shoulders. I still can't believe it 1 year on.

It's a strange feeling and some of the habits will never leave!

I still begrudge paying full price for many things, still check the bank everyday and still like a bargain!

Congratulations! Enjoy your debt free future!
