After a long hard road my last IVA payment has left the bank. 5 years of ups and downs but we'll worth it and now free of that debt ball and chain. Anyone starting on the road or continuing on the journey I wish the best of luck and the feeling is great. The only downside is I have my heard a thing from payplan.

I was meant to say I haven't heard a thing from payplan but not surprised. I just feel everyone who has completed the journey and fulfilled their obligations should at least receive some kind of correspondence from their IP.

That's brilliant news - Payplan didn't contact my husband when he finished. We cancelled the standing order and waited for the completion letter which came within a couple of weeks. Keep pushing for that

Thank you for your kind words and I will give payplan a ring and I'm hoping for a swift conclusion. I am not really in a mad hurry for my CC just pleased there is no more money to pay out and looking forward to a holiday later this year. The forum has been an excellent place to find out information that I would never of known about and the support has been fantastic . Anyone starting out on the journey should use the forum as a place to provide comfort and acknowledgement that they are not the only person going through an IVA and there is light at the end of the tunnel. The IVA isn't easy as there are hard times especially missing out on those little extras and luxuries but it's so worth it in the end.
