Hi and welcome.

Are you looking into an IVA? Give one or two companies a ring - Andy Davie/Vincent Bond (details under the expert link on the left ) a call for some free advice.

Most IP's are happy for you to keep a modest vehicle on hp, especially if it is needed to get to and from work. Creditors would usually ask that the IVA payment be increased by the car payment when the HP has ended.

The fly in the ointment, however, is likely to be the HP company. Again, most are OK as your payments are ring fenced in your allowances, but some will re-possess if you enter a debt solution. Most have this right to repossession written in their contracts, but not all act on it.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
