No -- the courts no longer get involve in everyday IVAs.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Not unless you need an Interim Order (say to adjourn any Bankruptcy Hearing or prevent impending creditor action) but even then the debtor won't need to attend - the IP will send a report to Court in support of the Order.
