In July my IVA will be completed. I have served 6 years and not defaulted on any payments and have been told by my IVA advisor in July to cancel my standing order/direct debit as I will be done. They said that it will take up to 6 months to receive my completion certificate, which after looking at the forums is the norm. if you have a good IVA company. My question is, I wish to remortgage my house as I pay a ridiculous interest rate, so need to get a new one asap. What loopholes will I have to jump through if any? Many thanks
If you have already done 6 years, then the credit files should clear up within a few months of getting your CC. This might need a little input from you. Have a read here:
Then, as lenders are all different and some notoriously difficult, I would suggest you chat to one of the brokers we have on forum, Ryan and Shaun, both of whom are experienced in adverse credit applications.
Their details can be found under the "Ask a Question" tab ( top left) and then scrolling down the page to the Experts Details section.
Best of luck.
