Hi
I have a lot of debt and struggling to make payments and live off what's left. I really wish I could have all these separate debts into one and make one affordable payment. I'm at my wits end, I tried to get a consolidation loan but they said no. I have now tried a company called gophermoney. They are offering to take my £7000 and odd debts and give me it for a payment of 353 a month and it would only take 2 years to clear. There are some disadvantages. I'm so unsure about this. I really wish someone could help and give me advice because I'm not fully understanding it all and it's just another worry.

Hi. I went to citizen advice and they were really helpful and helped me sort my debts which resulted in an IVA. I'd advise you to speak with them first. Good luck

The solution they have given you sound suspect, more like a loan.
I would advise you to have a chat at your local CAB as advised above, and / or have a chat with a few Insolvency firms to compare advice.
£7000 is actually quite a modest debt and you really need to look at all options, including a debt management plan, which is less traumatic to your credit history. StepChange manage DMPs free of charge, so worth a chat, also a chat with Vincent Bond would be worthwhile. Phone number at the top of this page.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I agree perhaps a DMP might be more beneficial.

Or you could agree f&F settlements with some of the creditors to chip away at the overall balance.
