Do I have to pay child maintenance with an IVA in place ?

Hi we have an iva.now the ex wife is saying the child maintenence is writing to me for me to start paying maintenance but I've got an iva in place so do I have to pay maintenance

Payment of maintenance is not dependent on the IVA, if you are ordered to pay it then you must pay. You will need to inform your IP so that allowance can, if possible, be made in the I&E.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Yes you need to pay any Order so will have to report any adjustment in expenditure to your IP accordingly.
