Hi how likely is it that creditors accept a lump sum payment ?

Hi how likely is it that creditors accept a lump sum iva payment rather than a monthly payment over 6 years? Its my partner who will be entering the IVA so could I borrow this money to give to my husband as a gift so that he could pay the lump sum?

They may well do - you need to speak to the IP company and explain how much is going to be offered but make sure they know that it is only available for that purpose.

As with most things, it will depend upon the numbers involved, but they do regularly get accepted.
