I'm just about to clear my IVA in full, after just 3 years & I've just been advised that a new debt from a new creditor has been added. Can this happen?

Hi and welcome,

Have they said where this new debt has come from? You need to ask them.

Yes it can happen. Who is this creditor and why were they not added at the start ?
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi Norman, you need to find out more information as the others suggest. Who is it, what does the debt relate to, do you agree with it, why was it not included originally etc?
