Had an iva with Dfd and finished paying in Jan 2015, paid back 83%. In Feb this year a bank who had paid my iva PPI recalculated and said they owed me more money. Dfd said they would take all of the PPI money less 30% equity in finance will take for initiating the original claim. The also stated that until the 100% of my iva was repaid they had claim on any additional money I received from other ppi's. Is there anything I can do to limit Dfd hold over me.

Hi and welcome,

Unfortunately at the moment then PPI will be applied to your IVA until such time as the full amount of original debt is paid in full.

Just write off any PPI in your mind --- DFD have no hold over YOU ... just the PPI.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
