Hi and welcome. An early settlement unfortunately, doesn't clear your credit files. An IVA will stay on your credit file for 6 years from date of acceptance (meeting date).

How early did your husband settle his IVA?
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi and welcome from me as well.

Agree with Lesley - you will not be able to get a mortgage at the moment.

You will not be considered for a mortgage for 6 years from the start of your IVA, after clearing up your credit files. Have a look here for that bit:

When you are ready to apply, you will need the help of a whole of market broker experienced in adverse credit, such as Ryan or Shaun, who both post regularly on this forum. Some lenders are more amenable than others.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

6 years has to have passed and you have to be off the register.

Ryan and Shaun are your best bet - you might have damaged your credit record further in making the application prematurely.
