Mortgage needed: IVA completed in March 2016. Removed from IR, not showing on credit file, default of 3 months on previous mortgage in 2013 but then repaid in full.
House cost £48000, house value £90000, deposit of 5%. Have obtained credit card/mobile phone contract in April to build credit score. Anyone help?

Hi,

Have a word with either Ryan or Shaun (details under the expert link on the left hand side of the page). They have been instrumental in helping many posters get a mortgage.

Use the brokers on here - they will give you advice etc. ?? You have defaults on payments to your mortage dated 2013,these will remain till 2019 if the lenders defaulted them.
So it is important you seek advice from a broker that is used to dealing with less than perfect credit files and previous IVA

When did your IVA start? Has 6 years passed yet - this can also affect your creditor rating.
