Just something that might be usefull to do in the future if anybody does have to take a payment break during their IVA, would be to ask the question:
Can I pay it back in parts or full while still in the IVA?
Some might say you cannot pay it back until right at the end of the term.
Some might say Yes anyway you like!
Its just something that has cropped up for us and it might be a good idea to find out before you take the break!
And get it in writing!!!!!
I would echo this along with advice to get ANY agreement in writing. Case officers change, as do their attitudes. IP's are more likely to sell their books these days too and the new IP will need evidence of any agreement out of the norm.
