My IVA is finishing in September this year. I would be most grateful if someone could inform me how long an RX1 stays on file after the IVA has closed.

It will depend on how long it takes for your completion certificate to come though, although your payments may stop in September you are still in an IVA until the certificate is issued.

The Insolvency services are infomed and information is passed to the Land registry once the certificate is issued

As above -- but it will be worth checking with your IP that he has removed the restriction, once your completion certificate has been issued, and also check with the Land Registry a couple of months after that.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I agree ask your IP to confirm the restriction has been lifted once the CC is issued. best of luck - not long to go!
