Hello, I sold my house, need money to pay bills and rent. Can IVA take all the money ?

Hello i sold my house and make 6000 pounds i am under an iva they can take all the money from me i need that money to pay off bills and rent a flat so can i start from fresh thanks

Unfortunately unless you sought a variation agreement before selling your house this money will almost definately have to be paid into your IVA, unless your property was excluded from the IVA.

If you are struggling with paying bills and meeting your contribution commitments then your I&E/contribution level probably needs revisiting - speak to your IP about this asap.
