I completed my iva last year but on Saturday morning I received a letter from consumer audit office saying I may be entitled to return of charges. Does anyone know what this is about. I'm guessing maybe ppi. The letter has no company registration number and you need a password to access the website which rings alarm bells to me. Are they just a claim company chasing ppi claims

Hi there, we see these from time to time, often best ignored, as others say
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

We got one yesterday from the Consumer Information Office, if you Google it it takes you to trading standards but if you go directly to the website (www.consumerinformationoffice.co.uk) it is obviously an ambulance chasing company.
getting there ....

Got there!!
IVA started 27/10/2010
final payment 27/10/2015
CC received 6/5/16
Off the register 5/8/16

All of these letters should be ignored.

My husband had one a few weeks ago and he completed in 2014. Not on the register since about July that year. You might find that they trawl the register and keep a note of those in an IVA so that when they complete they get in touch with them.
