Not sure what you mean - but I lived in a council house - which I did not own...So at the end of my 60 payments (+ PPI payments) mine was over. Had I owned my property - I would have probably had to pay the same monthly amount for an extra 12 months as I would not have being able to re-mortgage. Hope this helps.
IVA complete March 2014 after 6 years.
