Hi, completed IVA with CC April 2016, today 4 months on I have received a letter from Nationwide regarding a debt that was included within our IVA showing a closing balance which includes arrears of £5411.23.

Should we still be receiving letters like this as our IVA has completed?

Thanks in advance.....

Hi,

You shouldn't but it does sometimes happen. Did you check your credit record to make sure that they are not showing you in default?

Speak to them and tell them that you don't owe them anything at all and if necessary will send them a copy of your completion and will make a complaint.

Hi Carl - this should be easily resolved by reminding them about the IVA completion - I'm afraid you might have to send them a copy of the CC.

Thanks Lisa, today I've posted a copy of my CC and a covering letter asking them to update their records accordingly, hopefully this will suffice...
