I'm deeply concerned about partner's mental health. Is there any chance of an early finish ?

My question is my partner (in joint iva with payplan) tried to take her own life a few months back. We are starting yr 6 (nram). Im deeply concerned about my patners mentol health. Is there any chance of an early finish ie payments to date?
Many thanks for any help and advice

Hi Mark

Sorry to hear she is poorly.

She (or you on her behalf) will need to speak to her IP about this.

It's possible that perhaps with a Doctors note and written letter explaining the circumstances a variation can be put forward asking payments to date to be accepted in full and final settlement.

The IP will probably need to unlock the two IVAs so that yours can continue for the last year.

Hi,

I am also sorry to hear about your wife and I hope she makes a full recovery.

I agree that you need to speak to Payplan and supply evidence that she is ill.
