I can’t believe it’s finally over!

I feel numb and relived real mix bag of emotions at the moment.

Thanks to everyone here for your support, guidance and to those who are just starting don’t give up, stay strong you can do this and it’ll change the way you look after your finances going forward.

Creditfix have been great (I was an ex-PJG), had a few problems with the completion certificate getting lost in the post a few times which is really odd!
Just to clarify when will the entry at the register be removed? Is it from the date of completion or the date they get the certificate? Should I send them a copy of it?

Just checked my Noddle report and most of the credit card accounts are showing as closed however Bank of Ireland, Max Recovery and NatWest are still open and being marked default every month.

Am I right in assuming these should be closed soon?

Thanks guys

The IP will inform the Insolvency Service and you will come off the Register within 3 months of the date on the certificate. The Insolvency Service will then report to the credit reference agencies who will mark the IVA completed. What the creditors mark the accounts and defaults is not important -- what is important are the dates of default. Have a read here:

My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Well done! Up to 3 months to remove then you should be able to start cleaning up your credit record.

Best of luck for a debt free future.
