Hi I completed my IVA in 2008. I would really like to see if I can reclaim ppi paid but as I have a disability it's not something I can do myself. Had approached a company who now decided won't deal with people who've had an IVA. Does anyone know of a company that could deal with the claim for me?

as things currently stand any PPI you manage to reclaim rightfully belongs to your creditors, which is possibly why the firm you approached won't deal as they stand to lose their commission too.

If you wish to try yourself it is not too onerous -- just a couple of letters really --- but, as I say, the money would not be yours. Having said that there are a few IP's who lose interest in PPI in closed cases and one firm seems not to bother even in ongoing cases. Who were you with ?

We tried Gladstone Brooks and as soon as we mentioned the IVA they did not want to know.

Thanks everyone I know about the case. It might not be too hard to do but the disability I have now really impacts my concentration and also brain doesn't work well a lot of the time. Reason I was looking for a 3rd party to help.

Wait until Green v Wright case has been settled. You might also like to ensure that you didn't assign the PPI over when you closed your IVA.
