Our IVA is due to complete next month and creditfix have sent my husband a letter requesting that he complete a form for Allay to do a PPI claim.

Whilst we are happy for this to proceed, can it delay the completion of our IVA?

It feels like they are doing everything not to complete it at the moment (see other post about reduction in payments)

Thanks

The PPI investigation shouldn't hamper closure as long as you assign the PPI to your IP. Some IP's are happy to complete without the assignment on the basis that the PPI investigation is underway and the firm understanding that any PPI sent to you in error will be handed over to the IVA estate.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

If anything it should speed up the process as if you do not sign the form they cannot close the IVA until they have established the PPI position.
