Hi All,

Its been a while since I last posted on here but I have had the great news this afternoon that my IVA has been approved.

I cannot thank the IVA Advice Bureau enough in getting this proposal approved and would like to thank Melanie, Tom and all the team at the Cardiff office for all their hard work and apologise for all the emails I sent Melanie and Tom no doubt they got a little fed up of seeing an email everyday from me asking questions all the time.

It feels so good not having to worry anymore about how I will try and pay my creditors each and every month and now look forward to a debt free future all thanks to the Advice Bureau.

Good luck to everyone else who has and up and coming creditors meeting and hope it all goes well!!!!!

Cheers
Matt [:)]

Hi Matt
thats great news - congratulations.

I have opted to go with the same people for my IVA too.

What was your timescale like from initial contact to the creditors meeting??
When I was younger I did what I knew - now I know better I do better!

Thanks debtfree, it all happens quickly as long as you have all your documents etc in place when required it should be easier going.

I suppose timescale etc all depends on the above and how detailed your proposal is for your IP to produce.

My situation took less than 5 weeks from day one until today when it all went through and the IVA was passed, I was also imformed at all times as to what stage I was at and what was left to complete in order to move on so you always know whats going on.

You will be in great hands with Melanie and her team and I wish you all the best with your proposal.

congratulations and well done on the acceptancce, you've picked a great team to work with and I wish you well in your journey to debt freedom.

I doubt they'd be fed up with your emails, I email Melanie often and her service goes far beyond what I would expect.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

We are never fed up to hear from our clients, and I am personally delighted for Matt as we did have a major battle with one of the creditor representatives who asked for some pretty unreasonable terms, which I managed to sort out at high level. All in a day's work!!

Just caught up with this Matt, and congratulations from me as well.

Another great result for Melanie and her team.

Yes, Melanie really had her work cut out at the end but I know first hand why Melanie is regarded so highly and how good she is with the creditors, I really couldnt thank them enough for what they have done.
