No -- pop it in a box and keep it in the loft, or somesuch place. You never know when you might need it !

Keep - unfortunately.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

I have all my paperwork from the first communication with Dfd in 2007 to my completion certificate ... no way will i get rid of it ..it is there just in case .. but also acts as a great reminder of how not to live life!

Is 10 years long enough 20....30..?

Around 7 years is the usual time to retain financial documents.

I was NOT talking about throwing the CC away but all the documents saved in the last six years, why would anyone want to be reminded of the nightmare

Thanks all but I don't think you have really understood the question and you haven't given me any real reason to keep them. Bonfire tomorrow then

Seriously reconsider. I think that at least the original proposal and final reports should be kept. If not kept perhaps capture an image?
