My iva is coming to an end, final payment due December. My original IVA was with one company who must have transferred it to Creditfix which I wasn’t happy about due too them not setting up a standing order but that’s another story. On my original terms and conditions it says that in June just gone, I should have had my house valued to see if I had any money in it, but even if there was I wouldn’t be able to get a new mortgage anyway. So two weeks ago I have made on offer to credit fix to pay off a full 12 months payments in one go a friend offered the funds to end the IVA. But I have attached a few conditions and the main one being that my credit file does not show any bad credit this is because I have been offed a job which requires me to have a credit check. The conditions I have enclosed are these.

However i have a family friend who would be willing to loan me a full 12 months payments of
£2510.00. If you and the creditors will accept the following conditions below.

The above offer will be excepted by the 21st December 2015.
My credit rating will be clear shown as satisfactory and clear of any defaults etc.
A completion letter and report will be received from Creditfix by the end of January 2016

Do you think this is a fair offer, ive waited two weeks for an answer and I heard totally nothing only an email saying its been sent to my IP

Your IVA company does NOT have control over your credit file - although you may complete your IVA - you credit file will show your IVA and any defaults till the 6 years. Then if all marked correctly they will drop off from the 6 year mark

Agree with Ginger - it will remain on your record for the full six years. It will drop off the Insolvency Register once the completion letter is received by them.

You will not be able to get this removed any sooner from your credit record.

The creditors won't be able to remove it as per Gingers post

Sorry but is beyond the control or remit of any iva company to be able to influence your credit files or scores.

It would also be s breach of a number of pieces of legislation.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

May be worth contacting them to ensure they have recieved the offer and are begining to action this- however it may be a further delay as they need to call the creditors meeting. 2. confirm where the money is coming from

At the moment cf are erratic and slow.

You will need to push at every stage.

IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
