The IVA keeps increasing my payment. I have received an email from my advisor, who is not very helpful. I was supposed to be paying this for 5 years, and it is past 5 years, and I have never received any statements.

Also are you sure that you are in an IVA and not a debt management plan? Apparently a few years ago a number of companies were "selling" debt management plans as if they were IVA's.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
Which company are you with? Agree that you need to speak to them to find out what is going on.
Check the Insolvency Register to see if you are on there - if not then you are not in an IVA.

Im with clear debt i use to pay 115 a month then it increases to 335 a month and they wanting to increase to 284.55 a month when i only have 451 after everything is payed i dont know if the 284.55 is on top of the 355 as my advisor doesnt want to help me all she says is its not her its my creditors i have nothing saying when my last payment is all she says is september 2016 ive never had any statements from them ir a run down on how much i owe in a single parent with 4 children and she has got some of my income more than i get i also claim dla for my oldest son which i know they dont take that into my income. I just dont know what else to do with her not wanting to help me with all this as thought thats what she is there for
Hopefully David mond can pick up on this post and help - it would be unusual for clear debt not to provide any documentation.

We were with cleardebt and always had an annual report after a review. Your IVA , if you are in an iva, must have a start date and a number of payments you have to make. You must know how many payments you have made and deducting this from your original payments to see how many are left.
When you say £451 left, do you mean that's the balance from the income and expenditure or that's all you have for food etc? Does not sound much if that's to feed and clothe a family of 5!
As Kallis says, check the insolvency register to make sure it's an iva not dmp
The 451 is whats left after my income and expidenture to live on for another month i dont work as i claim dla for my son just dont get my advisor is want to increase to 284.55 a month when i pay 335 a month as it is
The whole balance from our income and expenditure was paid over to our IVA. We had nothing other than the allowances on the expenditure form.
Has your income gone up? Payments are not fixed and increase in line with any income increases (50% I think). Didn't you have any paperwork when they asked for the last increase?
Did you have equity or a minimim repayment? They can't just extend for no reason.
I think David Mond will be very unhappy to read that a member of his staff is being unhelpful, everyone we had contact with was very professional and efficient.
Thanks kallis3 done it and yes i am on there. Do they allow for pets on ivas aswell if so how much do they allow as i dont put that down on my expenditure form as dont know if they allow for pets
Nope i didnt get any paperwork when it last went up my minium payment was 115 when i took it out 2010 and what do u mean by equity and my money hasnt increased but on my income my tax credit is more than what i get and my sons dla is more than i get aswell but the dla gets took back off in expenditure i found out my start date by doing what kallis3 said to do. But im wondering where my money has gone to that ive paid to them since 2010
I think the best thing is for David to pick this upfor you. It seems very strange that your income and expenditure gets posted and they tell you to increase the payments but not why. We had allowances for our dog and I assume they're still ok.
If you started 2010 and it's 6 years I can only assume it's because you had debt with Northern Rock or because the payment was so low.
I am sure David Mond will help clarify things for you.
I had allowances for all three of the dogs I had at the time which covered their insurance premiums.
