Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt

I am surprised your IP has not contacted you by now so give them a ring. If there was a problem I would expect you should have heard by now so best of luck all approved.
Thanks guys. Michael I have I just emailed the Insolvency Officer (I have never dealt with the IP directly) and she states that I should hear from the MOC team before the end of play today. Is this common practice to wait until the end of the working day?
It depends on the firm. Personally I ring my debtors as soon as I know the outcome, which could even be before the meeting depending on when the creditors vote. It's a shame you have to wait all day. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to count the votes. Good luck.
Not with us but I cannot say for other firms. We will send any modifications to our clients the night before or in the morning and once these have been signed and returned we do the recorded call. It is a simple process and I cannot understand why your firm cannot just go ahead and let you know the outcome.
Nope Annearchie, I rang the MOC team just now and the lady dealing with my case is counting the votes as I type and I will get a call in the next half hour (just as I collect the crazy kids up from school no doubt).
Today has been the longest day ever, and I've been useless with getting on with work and making any excuse to get up and make a cup of tea. I think I have managed to process about two orders all afternoon!
is it for your actual iva? I hope it is accepted ...it will be don't worry .. I have applied for a full and final settlement as my work (they are the most amazing employers) want to gift me 5000k to get it settled. hope to have my meeting set up by January
How long does it take to count votes? They are making it sound like a by-election rather than how half a dozen creditors voted in the IVA! You should get back on to them as it is not fair leaving clients in this type of limbo.
