Hi all

After nearly 6 long years (6 months with a broken leg and no payments going out) i have 2 payments to go with DFD.

After my final payment what actually happens then?? i know i could wait 6 months for a completion Certificate which i can cope with but i don't want a "we want another ££££ from you"

thanks for any info on this

Pete :)

Hi there and welcome to the forum

Your case ought to be closed within 2 months of the final anniversary, unless there are specific reasons which prevent this. Best to check with them directly to be sure, but congratulations on getting to the end of the road.

You are almost there, well done. Hope the legs healed well and you'll very shortly be debt free,.

do check with DFD as to their closure procedure but hopefully no holdups. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

sorry for alittle off topic with this but i'll keep it all in one thread, i just signed up too Noddle credit check and having looked at this it shows that all the credit cards i had (7 of them) have gone of the file but 1 bank account and loan....and both of them are showing defaulted way way after the iva start back on 26/04/2007

Hi. If the debts were included in the IVA the default date MUST be on od before the start of the IVA. You will need to contact the data controller for each company and request the date is changed or the default removed.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
