Hi

I've just got another payment demand, this one from Triton credit services representing Natwest credit card. I normally just ignore them but 4 months into an IVA they should have stopped! I don't want the phone to start ringing all the time again!
I had a default notice from Natwest bank last week and sent a copy of the chairman's report back with it. I had asked my ip to do this a month ago but don't know if this has actually happened.
I was just wondering if it would be better to send this letter to my ip, ignore it or send a copy of the chairman's report to them as well. They have asked me to call them but that's not going to happen!

Send these documents to your IP and ask them to contact your creditors for you. It is inexcusible for them to keep pestering you at this stage of your IVA, and so far as us IP's are concerned increasingly tedious to have to keep telling them the same thing over and over again.

Some creditors just don't get the message - Littlewoods have only just stopped hassling me and Tesco have decided to default my account again if I don't pay them within 14 days!

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

Thanks Melanie
I'll send them on. The last time I spoke to Natwest 3 weeks ago both credit card and bank told me they had not received anything from my ip at all and only had on file what i'd told them previously. I know it takes time to filter through but the original paperwork went out in April!
I just don't want them to start calling me at work again. I can't talk to them and at the moment I'm training someone to take over my job so they are lisening in on my calls!

Hi Pixie, I use to get letters for a long time (maybe 1 a month for 4 months) after my IVA was set up. They were from Halifax and each time I wrote to them refering to my previous letter asking them to speak to my IP. I also faxed the letter each time. In the end I contacted them to tell them what happended and it was just that one department hadn't told the other. You can pretty much ignore them though and just send to your IP.
