Hi All,

Am 18 months in following the successful completion of my IVA and with my credit score now at an excellent level Im now into the final year of a fixed mortgage with Halifax.

Having had the fixed mortgage for many years and paying next to nothing off the borrowed amount of £125k what options would I have available to me, currently the settlement figure is £113k with the house worth around £105k and have an early settlement charge of £1k.

Any help or advice on the above would be appreciated to see if there is anyway to remortgage and get out of this arrangemen with Halifax..

Cheers
Matt

Unless i am reading this wrong - but you have negative equity ?? - which may prove problematic.

Why dont you speak to the Mortgage brokers on here - Ryan & Shaun for some information on the best way forward
