Hi Victoria. Are you in an IVA ? If so, an inheritance, if over £500, is considered a windfall and, as such, is payable into your IVA. The IVA will continue as normal unless the monies paid in cover 100% of the original debt, plus fees and possible statutory interest, at which point it would end early.
