My partner and his ex wife are in IVA agreement for last 8 years (!) and after splitting debt few years ago he still got 10000 to pay ( he is paying 100£/month). They just sold a house. His ex got most of equator but she doesn't want to settle her half. I want to pay my partners half. What figure I can offer to creditors ( if he continues his payment it will carry on for another 8 year making 16 all together !!!!)
You need to get them separated as it sounds as though they are interlocking. Get your partner to speak to the IP and explain the circumstances. His ex will most probably have to some, if not all of her equity across to the IVA anyway.
You should offer as close to the debt as possible and make it a full and final offer which will be withdrawn if it's not accepted.

Are you sure they are in IVA's ? If so they shouldn't be that long and there should have been a restriction placed on the house, so it couldn't be sold.

They separated debts couple years ago but the biggest one is their joint loan which if not settle in full won't clear my partner . She hasn't been paying her half for long time now and is saying now she's moved there is no way for IVA to ask for money and payments. Is there a way creditors can demand debt back? She came out with 80k equaty and debt is 10k
It's seems too long for me too but I know she didn't pay her part for ages. It's IVA charity called pay plan. And yes house has been sold my partner got 10k. She is left with 80k
Payplan do Debt Management Plans as well as IVA's. Your partner should check with them what arrangement he is actually on -- it does not sound like an IVA.
