How does IVA affect gettting a job?

I have been offered position as insurance broker, their recruitant asked me if I have ever been declared a bankrupt. I said now but I mentioned that I am on payment plan (did't say it was IVA, not in purpose just didn't think about it)

He said that as long as I'm not banktupt it's ok.

And then I have fou d an article online comparing banlrupcy and IVA and apparantely they are pretty much the same thing?

Could IVA affect this employment?

An IVA is totally different to bankruptcy. You answered truthfully so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

IVA and Bankruptcy are not the same thing at all, other than the end result of being debt free. If ever asked "are you or have you ever been bankrupt", you can honestly answer "No".
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
