There should be a restriction on the title -- maybe the IP didn't lodge one -- did you sign an RX4 ?

Usually, yes, but not always ! Sometimes, for various reasons, the creditors might agree to write the property out of the arrangement. Or, the particular IP just didn't lodge a restriction (or Land Registry simply didn't record it! ).

When checking for the restriction -- do check Section B: Proprietorship, as it is this section that has the matters affecting disposal, not, as you would expect Section C: Charges.

I am afraid we do not have access to uploads --- maybe Admin will see it, but not us mere mortals.

If you are awaiting the certificate it is possible the IP has already removed the restriction. It is unusual not to have one at all.

Not all IPs lodge a restriction so perhaps this did not happen in your case.
