Hi - just an update on our IVA app. We had a call of Thomas Charles today saying they had rec'd alldocs. and a chq for £440! So they are going to do the letter to the creditors! I assume this is to inform them of the IVA app. What will happen now, will we get a date of an IVA meeting?? How long does this normally take? Also, the money we pay to Thomas Charles, that is their fee, isn't it, not for the Creditors! One last thing, will thomas Charles be our IP, or will they pass us on to somebody else??

THomas Charles will not be handling your case they will pass to an IP to deal with this.
Thomas Charles charge 2 months payments up front to get the ball moving and this is normally refunded if not successful.
I must say they are great to deal with who is your advisor?

No the IP will do all of this.
When i went through Thomas Charles they had to have my 2 payments before passed to an IP
